Obviously nothing laid out but you really have to try to get that low. The 153 is a pretty good width for me as you can do pretty aggressive carving without heel/toe drag issues when normally a 253mm waist would cause problems. Midbite tech makes the board even wider than the waist width suggests for a comparable board. I have 9.5 boots, 5’8” but around 150lbs. the difference is the ghost doesn’t have rocker. I ride a 153 Ghost which is pretty similar to the standard- I think they have the same shape/tech, width flex, etc. Anybody who has ridden it please get involved! What I'm really after is being able to throw it around a bit, given that my Berzerker is great for speed.ĮDIT: Forgot to mention, the Standard seems quite wide and I was worried with size boots I have (9.5 US) I wouldn't get the maximum out of the Standard. I wondered if a 155cm Basic or a 156cm Standard would be suitable for me? I would top out the weight range on both really. The standard has a sintered base which seems good but none of the reviews seem as glowing as the basic for some reason. Has anyone tried these out? The Basic is nice and cheap and has an extruded base which kind of puts me off (visions of just dying on flat sections) but has great reviews. I've narrowed it down to the Yes Standard or the Yes Basic. It's done me fine for a couple holidays and is nice and stable but I'm after something a bit more nimble, and I also want to start trying out switch riding and learning a few tricks. I have a Ride Berzerker at the moment which I got off eBay for cheap. My stats - I'm 172cm or 5 foot 8 and about 87kg, about 190lbs. Once compressed the camber will accentuate the rocker and lift the nose out more allowing it to float. The camber is between your feet as a spring keeping your contact points on the ground as you go in and out of turns allowing you to keep that edge hold longer.

By combining camber and rocker you allow the board to be both responsive and floaty. The response of camber with the floatability of rocker.

Please Note: The base is die cut and to reduce waste base colour can vary and can't be selected.

Defining Full Resort Freestyle. Every year we found ourselves getting custom made team-spec boards for riders like Benji Ritchie, that loved the Basic but wanted a faster base and just a little more snap to the flex. The Typo is exactly that.
